Sitting for a portrait should be informal and enjoyable. I find that most subjects feel more relaxed and natural in their own surroundings. So to achieve the best result, I will visit you for the sitting.

After discussing your requirements, I will plan a composition, establish the best
available natural light scource and then take a number of photographs to use as
reference material. (Please note that I only work from my own photographic references.)

A sitting normally takes between one and two hours. The finished portrait takes me between one and three weeks to complete depending on size and content.
